How the quiz works

You get 12 short, slightly bizarre scenarios — a stranger posing at the top of a staircase, a cursed keyring for one coin, a room slowly filling with water — and pick one of four reactions to each. There are no right answers. Every option adds points to two of six traits: boldness, cunning, loyalty, flair, patience and chaos. Your six scores are compared with a profile for each archetype, and the closest one becomes your Stand.

Some people call this a JJBA personality test, others a JoJo personality test or a what is my Stand quiz. This page is one fan-made take on the idea, written from scratch: the scenarios, archetype names and powers are original. Before launch we ran the scoring on many thousands of random answer sets, so no archetype is handed out far more often than the rest.

The 8 Stand types

Rush Vanguard (close-range power) hits fast and hard but has to stay near you; it suits people who meet trouble head-on. Far Signal (long-range) drifts for kilometres on an invisible line; it suits planners who observe first and act once. Stray Engine (automatic) runs on one rule you set and never stops chasing; it suits people who trust momentum.

Heirloom Bind (bound to an object) lives inside something you carry and lends a practised skill to whoever holds it; it suits sentimental, stylish people. Tiny Legion (swarm / colony) is twelve thumb-sized spirits with twelve opinions; it suits team players who juggle many moving parts.

Clock Fracture (time / space) cuts one second out of time to use later; it suits ambitious people who love a grand gesture. Quiet Lens (information / sensing) reads the last lie someone told; it suits observers who notice what others miss. Mending Thread (support / healing) stitches broken things back together; it suits the person who keeps the group in one piece.

Stats explained

Every result comes with a stat block in the classic letter style, from A (excellent) to E (very weak), across six stats: power, speed, range, durability, precision and potential. Each archetype has its own baseline — a close-range type hits hard but cannot reach far, a sensing type is precise but harmless — and your answers shift every stat a little. Bold answers raise power, patient and cunning ones raise precision and range, loyal ones raise durability, and flair and chaos feed speed and potential, so two people with the same archetype can end up with different letters.

Range is how far the power works from you, durability is how well it holds up when things go wrong, and potential is how much room it has to grow.

Closest in the series

Each result also says which style in the series your archetype is closest to, as one line of text — for example, that a close-range power type fights in the style of Jotaro Kujo in Part 3. These lines name main characters and describe a power style in a few words. You never get an official Stand as your result, because the point is to give you one of your own.

FAQ

What is my Stand?

Answer the 12 questions and the quiz matches you to one of eight original archetypes: Rush Vanguard, Far Signal, Stray Engine, Heirloom Bind, Tiny Legion, Clock Fracture, Quiet Lens or Mending Thread. Your result explains the ability, gives your A–E stats and names your runner-up.

Is this the official JoJo quiz?

No. This is an unofficial fan-made quiz with original questions and original archetypes. It is not connected to the creator, the publisher, the animation studio or any distributor, and it uses no text or images from the series.

Can I get a canon Stand?

No, on purpose. Results are original archetypes, not official Stands. Each result does say, in one line of text, which style in the series it is closest to, so you can see whose power works in a similar way.

Is it free?

Yes. The JoJo Stand quiz is completely free, with no sign-up and no email. Scoring happens in your browser, and your result page has share images sized for stories, posts and chats.

Does it contain spoilers?

Hardly any. The questions are original scenarios with no plot points. The canon comparisons name a few main characters from Parts 3 to 5 and describe their power style in a few words, with no twists or endings.

Can I retake it?

Yes, as often as you like. Answer the way you would really react rather than aiming for a type. If two archetypes are close, your runner-up shows the other Stand you nearly got.
